The Chiefs of Ontario is a political forum and a secretariat for collective decision making, action, and advocacy for the 133 First Nation communities located within the boundaries of the province of Ontario, Canada. Guided by the Chiefs in Assembly, Chiefs of Ontario upholds self-determination efforts of the Anishinaabek, Mushkegowuk, Onkwehon:we, and Lenape Peoples in protecting and exercising their inherent and Treaty rights.
Richard Gerver, a globally celebrated educator and speaker, was invited to make a Keynote address at the Education Symposium in May 2012. His insights into education are unique thanks to his extraordinary journey as a struggling actor, copywriter, estate agent to becoming an award winning teacher and school principal. His ground breaking work in education was celebrated by the British National Teaching awards and UNESCO amongst others.
Since leaving his 20 year career in education, Richard has worked to explore the links between great leadership, human potential, change and innovation.
