Canadian Feed The Children is a member of the Coalition for Healthy School Food. The Coalition brings together 140 organizations to advocate for Federal funding of a universal school nutrition program.
One of our priorities is to seek input from Indigenous schools and organizations as to how a universal school nutrition program should be funded and implemented. As such, we are hoping to establish a working group comprised of Indigenous organizations who are members of the Coalition, as well as representatives from Indigenous schools that run school nutrition programs. We are reaching out to Indigenous members of the Coalition and to our partners who run school nutrition programs to invite you to a meeting on this topic.
If you are interested in participating, please fill in the doodle poll with your availability and then we will follow-up with a meeting invitation. Hopefully, we can find a time that works for everyone. You should have received an email on April 6th. But for your ease you can also access to the poll by clicking this link: https://doodle.com/poll/igk793942qqwpvpz
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you.
