First Nation Education and Languages Forum
The Chiefs of Ontario Education Sector are hosting the 2025 Education and Languages Forum taking place October 21-23, 2025, at the Courtyard Marriott Toronto, 475 Yonge St, Toronto.
This year’s theme, “Feathers of Knowledge: Carrying Our Future Forward,” celebrates First Nation knowledge systems and the role of education and language revitalization in uplifting communities. This year, education and language will be integrated across all three days, reflecting their interconnectedness and the spirit of Article 14 of UNDRIP.
Who should attend? First Nation Education and Language Educators, Advocates, Directors, Technicians and Administrators.
Two (2) attendees employed or designated by a First Nation or First Nation representative entity will be reimbursed for their travel, meals, and hotel accommodations for up to three (3) nights at the rate of $379.00 CAD to attend the event upon submission of a travel claim, after the event.
