The Chiefs of Ontario (COO) Education Sector has recently contracted Indigenous & Community Engagement (ICE) Inc. to conduct a comprehensive review of adult education programming needs and costs in First Nations. As part of this process, ICE has developed an online survey to gather your input, which will directly inform a final report and costing analysis. This analysis aims to estimate the resources required and will also aid the COO in its submission to Indigenous Services Canada (ISC), strengthening advocacy for increased funding and investment in adult education for First Nations.

Take the First Nations Adult Education Survey and share your thoughts on:

  • The goals and unique aspects of First Nations adult education
  • Best practices for increasing enrolment and improving course outcomes
  • The benefits and challenges of the Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) First Nations Adult Secondary Education Program over the past five years
  • Opportunities for program expansion to better serve First Nations learners

Please share this with First Nations adult learners, education staff, administrators, and organizations.
