The Chiefs of Ontario and the Chiefs and Technical Committee on Languages and Learning are pleased to announce an upcoming First Nation Languages and Education forum for February 7 – 9, 2023. We have many exciting keynote speakers and presenters lined up, plus numerous breakout sessions planned!

- Information sharing on activity focused on Languages and Education
- Breakout sessions focused on promising practices and capacity-building support
- A social/networking evening that includes dinner and entertainment
There will be door prizes, exhibitors, breakfast and lunch provided on all three days.
Participants will be required to register for the Language and Education Forum. The event will be hosted in-person; however, there will be an online/virtual option.
Participants are responsible for their travel costs and arrangements up front. COO will reimburse attendees after the event. A block of rooms has been set aside at the Chelsea Hotel at a special rate of $169.00 per night plus applicable taxes. These rooms will be available at this rate until January 12, 2023.
